Chevrolet Sales Data & Trends for the U.S Automotive Market

Chevrolet is the biggest of General Motors’ four remaining brands and battling with Toyota for second place behind Ford as most popular brand in the United States by volume. It’s products range from the small citycar Spark to the all-electric Bolt and the full-fledged sports car Corvette and from the small crossover Trax to the family-sized SUV Suburban and of course the full-sized pick-up truck Silverado.

Chevrolet produces most of its cars and SUVs for the US market in North America, with the exception of the Spark minicar, which is produced in GM’s former Daewoo factory in South Korea.

The Chevrolet Silverado full-sized pick-up truck has been the best selling model for the brand in the United States for decades, while the Malibu midsized sedan is its most popular sedan and the Equinox compact crossover its best selling crossover.
