Audi Sales Data & Trends for the U.S Automotive Market
Audi is one of the fastest growing premium brands in the US, despite ending its winning streak of 9 years of continuous monthly year-over-year increases in October 2018 and stable sales from 2017 to 2019. Yet there’s still plenty of room to grow, as the worldwide best selling premium brand still lags its two German rivals and Lexus by almost 100,000 annual sales in the US.
Except for the Q5 SUV, which is produced in Audi’s first North American assembly plant in Puebla Mexico, all of the brand’s models for the US market are imported. The share of crossovers in Audi’s US sales have steadily increased from 31% in 2010 to 61% in 2019.
