Skyworth Sales Data & Trends for the Chinese Automotive Market

Skyworth (in Mandarin 创维 or Chuangwei) is a new brand for EVs by Skywell Automobiles. Largest shareholder is electronics giant Skyworth Group from Shenzhen. Skyworth group was established in 1988 and is a major player in manufacturing television and set-top boxes. One of their subsidiaries is a manufacturer of in-car Av technology since 1996. The  cars are produced by another shareholder Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus, a large bus maker established in 2000.

Skyworth launched in August 2021 with the EV6 SUV.
