Great Wall Motor Company, established in 1976, produces and markets the Great Wall, Haval, Wey and Ora brands in China and has a joint venture with Yogomo for the Link Tour EV brand. Great Wall is one of the only large Chinese carmakers that has no manufacturing Joint Venture with an international auto brand.

These statistics only include sales of passenger cars under the Great Wall brand and exclude sales of Great Wall pick-up trucks, Haval, Wey and Ora models. The latter two are published separately under their own brand sales figures. Great Wall ended production of passenger cars under its own brand at the end of 2018.

  1. This is to report that figure above as “All model” had been underquoted and only included the Car sales (Sedan model)
    e.g. Oct 2017 sales for “All model” were “770” when the entire corporate had sales figure of 108008, even if I exclude Wey figure, it still far exceed 770.
    November 2017 was also underquoted. The corporate had achieved 131062, car (sedan) segment achieved 1616 alone.

      you are correct, these figures only include the passenger car sales of GW and exclude Haval, Wey and pick-ups. The former two are published separately, but we don’t publish any pick-up sales figures. I’ve updated the text of the article to be more clear about this. Thanks!
