Not that surprising considering Americans can buy a Sante Fe for 24,5k dollars (= 26k euros). I have to pay 59k euros (= 65k dollars) for mostly the same car with a four cylinder diesel engine instead of a petrol version.

Americans get a lot more car for much less money.
